I am a 1991 graduate of Maplesville High School.  I received an Associate of Applied Science in Business and Human Resource Management from Wallace Community College Selma in 1994.  I graduated from the University of Montevallo in December of 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Early Elementary Education.  I am also certified in Family and Community Science.

I began my teaching career in January 2003 in the Bibb County school system where I taught Kindergarten at Centreville Elementary.  I transferred to Maplesville High School in August 2003 to teach 1st grade.  Since coming to Maplesville, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. I began teaching Family and Consumer Science in August of 2016.

My husband, Allen, and I have been married 24 years and are blessed with two amazing children.  Forrest (121) is beginning his first year of pharmacy school Auburn University and Mallory (18) is starting her freshman year at the University of Montevallo.  We attend Hillcrest Baptist Church.  As a family, we enjoy movie nights, family dinners, beach trips, and attending sporting events.  Outside of my family, some of my favorite things are anything AUBURN (War Eagle!), reading, shopping, pedicures, Dt. Coke, gummy bears, and Jolly Ranchers.
